Washington Park Residence
This beautiful residence was the former home of a rock star with numerous idiosyncrasies. The new owners were looking to bring the home back to its original qualities with modern upgrades to the infrastructure. The kitchen, master bedroom suite and general interior aesthetics required extensive remodeling. The kitchen spaces are new additions that integrate into the landscape as an enclosed sun porch concept. The exterior of the home had been neglected and the City of Seattle required the existing driveway to be relocated due to a conflict with the adjacent city park. The Bellan Team working with Charles Anderson Architects reconfigured the site access to include a new driveway, custom entry gate, garage and extensive piling retaining wall. The exterior trellis system had long since rotted and was removed. The new trellis system included custom milled recycled redwood from retired pickle barrels and new Wilkeson limestone column supports and pavers.
